Functional Training in South Africa

Functional training builds strength and fitness through real-life movements: pushing, pulling, carrying, throwing and jumping. MiFitness supplies functional training equipment for home gyms, bootcamps, CrossFit and Hyrox boxes, sports teams and commercial gyms, including kettlebells, push sleds, battle ropes, wall balls, slam balls, sandbags and curve treadmills.

Add rubber flooring or astro turf for a sled track, and see our hybrid fitness range for Hyrox-style training.

Functional Training questions

What do I need for a functional training area?

Start with kettlebells, wall balls, a sled and a clear strip of turf or rubber flooring. Add battle ropes, sandbags and a ski machine or curve treadmill as you grow.

Do you supply Hyrox and CrossFit boxes?

Yes. We supply sleds, wall balls, ski machines, rowers and curve treadmills, and can plan the layout with a 3D gym design.

Can I use a sled on any floor?

Use astro turf or a sled-friendly surface to protect your floor and give the sled the right grip.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. You can choose Payflex, Float or Mobicred at checkout, subject to their approval.

Can I try functional training equipment before I buy?
